I could let the truck cool down for 30 minutes to an hour and the truck would go but I had to keep it around 50-65 mph and keep the transmission temp below 138 degrees. The oil recycler has been rebuilt and needs to be redone again. I eventually discovered that the radiator, starter and fifth wheel was bad. They eventually replaced the engine wiring harness. I would turn the truck off and it would reset and go for a little while longer. Truck would go to idle and the truck would coast to a stop. After they corrected the after treatment issue, then I would lose the pedal. They eventually replaced the def fuel pump, 7th injector, doser valve and nox sensors.

My truck was down for the first 10 weeks of ownership due to after treatment issues and a bad engine wiring harness. As I discovered “after purchasing”, this is about the time a lot of stuff goes bad. I purchased the truck 26 months ago with 550k on the speedo. I signed on to this forum to hopefully help the next guy or gal who is thinking about buying a 2013 Volvo 610 with I shift.
